2013 Puzzle, 48 pieces--North Ward School

2013

This beautiful Limited Edition 48-piece jigsaw puzzle is the third in a series of puzzles presented by the Polk County Genealogical Society. A new puzzle featuring a landmark Polk County building or landmark will be revealed each fall for the upcoming holiday season.

The 2013 puzzle with 48 pieces features the 110-year-old North Ward School, located just north of the downtown Bolivar area at the corner of Main and Locust. The building was built in 1903 and was first the home of Bolivar High School until 1917. It was used as a school for elementary-age children living in Bolivar's North Ward until 1965. The building stood empty for several years and then it was purchased and donated to the Historical Society of Polk County. It now houses the Polk County Museum, which opened in 1982. The building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011. The puzzle features a black and white picture of the building.
The finished puzzle is 8 inches by 10 inches. It comes in a white box with the finished picture printed on the front of the box. The puzzle was done in a glossy finish.

Shipping will be in a padded envelope.

Shipping is included in the price unless otherwise listed.
